Contract Signing Ceremony on PSA for O&M of Dam and Powerhouse of Nam Lik 1 Hydroelectric Power Project (Phase II)
(From left) Mr. Bounmy Souvannasouk (CTO of EDL-Gen O&M), Mr. Xay Xaysetha (CEO of EDL-Gen O&M), Mr. Suchin Sayasonthi (Assistant Governor, Business Project, EGAT) and Mrs. Tipawan Paisalsukwittaya (Director of Procurement and Inventory Management Division, EGAT) are signing the contract agreement.
On dated 14 September 2022, EGAT signed the contract on Personnel Providing Services Agreement (PSA, Phase II) for Operation and Maintenance of Dam and Powerhouse of Nam Lik 1 Hydroelectric Power Project, Lao PDR with EDL-Gen Operation and Maintenance Service Sole Co.,Ltd (EDL-GEN O&M) to develop O&M business and human resources as well as sharing knowledge and news for the hydropower plant’s O&M business opportunities.
Mr. Suchin Sayasonthi Assistant Governor, Business Project, EGAT and Mr. Xay Xaysetha Managing Director (CEO) of EDL-GEN O&M participated in the Contract signing ceremony on the hydropower plant’s O&M with EDL-GEN O&M at EDL’s Headquarters Building, Vientiane Capital, Lao PDR.
This Contract aims to strengthen O&M business performance and skills of human resources as well as sharing knowledge and news for the hydropower plant’s O&M business opportunities. Moreover, technical knowledge, theoretical training, on-the-job training, capacity building, team building will be enhanced to strengthen the performance of O&M services of the hydropower plant in the international level. The domestic and overseas O&M service business opportunities will be more achievable, while there is the feasibility study to establish a joint-venture to develop business and potential projects in the future.
